Between Jesus' Arrivals

We are officially in the Advent season. This is a time of year when we both reflect thankfully on Jesus' first coming and eagerly anticipate His second coming. These two events define your existence, and I offer these two related questions to ponder in the weeks ahead.

1. How much different is your life because Jesus came?

2. How much different should your life be because Jesus is coming?

Our lives are mere segments in eternity's timeline, but they can become profoundly significant because of Jesus Christ. It is through Him that God joins us to His family and commissions us to advance His kingdom on Earth. That looks different for each of us, but all of our work comes together as part of God's master plan.

In my own life, God has called me to start the Christian Alternative Schools for Men (ChASM) Project. Because it is part of God's plan, the ChASM Project will have an eternal impact that I could never produce on my own.
