More Than a Good Idea

When talking about the ChASM Project, people often tell me, "that's a good idea." While I appreciate their support, their words are not quite accurate. There are two issues with thinking about the ChASM Project as "a good idea."

First, the ChASM Project is not just a good idea, or even a great idea. It was God's idea. I cannot accept credit for His work, but like you, I can partner with Him in making it a reality in the earth. That is exactly what we have done, and that leads to the second issue.

Notice that I said the ChASM Project "was God's idea." God has not changed His mind about it, but it has moved beyond something abstract and ethereal. The ChASM Project is a real organization, happening on the earth right now. We have moved from "someday" to "today," and we need your help to continue this work.

Currently, we are incorporated in North Carolina and have 501(c)(3) approval from the Internal Revenue Service. However, we must have a building to move forward from being an "organization" to being a recognized "school" under state law.

The board, prayer team, and I are believing the Lord for a like-minded ministry to partner with us and allow us to use their unoccupied building as a school during the week. We are starting in the Charlotte area, and are seeking a building in Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, or Union counties, but are open to other locations.

I am asking you to each share God's idea with your pastor, deacons, elders, small group leaders, friends, and family. There are thousands of churches in this area, and it takes all of us working together to get this message to the right one.
